A 22-year-old Pensacola man was killed Sunday night when he was ejected from his motorcycle after it struck another motorcycle traveling in front of him on U.S. Highway 98 in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Hiram Jeffrey Bullock was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 11 p.m.

His passenger, 21-year-old Randel Laine Banning of Navarre, was on the back of Bullock's bike. She was ejected, as was the driver of the other motorcyle, 25-year-old Kerry Gene Larrabee of Gulf Breeze.

They were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola and were listed in fair condition Monday morning, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Bullock's 2007 Yamaha was traveling westbound near the intersection with Mohawk Trail just before 10 p.m. Sunday when the right side of his bike struck the rear left of Larrabee's 2001 Honda. Both bikes were in the inside lane.

Bullock was traveling at a "very high rate of speed," according to the FHP report.

None of the riders were wearing helmets.

It is unknown whether alcohol was a factor. All charges are pending the results of a traffic homicide investigation, the report said.
